she's learned that from own experience what it means to be depressed, physical ill and feelings of insecureness. She lived the songs she's singing, and you will hear the emotion through her music.
Kirsten lives in holland with her husband Rob and their 4 children.

Dutch Gospel singer Kirsten Alting is touring through the states
Out of the blue she came… and yet she’s touring through America and Holland to promote her album and her video she’s made for Mercy ships.
“ That’s only the work of God” Kirsten says. Since the release of her debut album Praise His Name last summer, her career took a flight. Her album was on heavy rotation at multiple radio stations; doing concerts and performances; the song “Unlikelies” was voted fan favorite on absolutelygospel.com and she had even entered the scoop top 100 at place 70th and she was guest in several radio and television shows.
God uses her music and personal testimony of depression and physical illness & surgeries, to encourage people to Praise His Name, no matter what the circumstances may be. Because Kirsten knows from experience, she’s able to translate those emotions into the country/southern voiced songs.
